Our Services

We understand that every child is different and has unique needs. That’s why we create personalized therapy plans tailored to each child, helping them reach their fullest potential.

EVALUATIONS

The evaluation paints a detailed picture of a child’s unique abilities and areas of growth. KidLink Therapy clinicians seek to identify the “why” behind the child’s behaviors and struggles during the evaluation.

Parent Coaching

Individual Coaching

Our general parent coaching offers personalized support for a wide range of parenting challenges, including managing behavior, improving communication, and establishing positive routines. Parents gain practical strategies to help create a supportive and nurturing environment for your child’s growth.

Mila Teshler also offers a unique 12-week parent coaching program that takes a strength-based approach to parenting children with ADHD. These consultations take place outside our therapy office or partnership locations. They may occur at schools, daycares, or other venues when appropriate. Services include advocacy at IEP meetings, teacher/team education, and academic consultations for students.

Clinical Presentations and Education

We provide a range of informative and educational resources for parents, caregivers, educators, and clinicians working with children. We offer a series of presentations and educational sessions covering a variety of topics related to pediatric occupational therapy. Each presentation is designed to provide practical strategies, evidence-based interventions, and expert advice to help children reach their full potential.

Home Program

Enhancing Development at Home

Our Home Program extends the benefits of therapy into the home environment, offering customized tools to support your child’s growth between clinic visits. This includes sensory diets designed to regulate sensory input, integrated listening exercises to enhance auditory processing, and targeted activities to improve sensory and motor skills.

As part of the Home Program, the Integrated Listening System (ILS) is available and supervised by a licensed and certified clinician. ILS is a powerful tool used both in the clinic and at home to support auditory processing, focus, and emotional regulation. Additionally, the Safe and Sound Protocol is offered to further enhance sensory processing. Each component is tailored to your child’s unique needs, ensuring consistent support for their developmental goals at home.

Sensory Diet

This sensory diet is the first of its kind! It’s designed to enhance attention, arousal, and focus through activities specifically scheduled into a child’s day. The activities are selected by our therapists and tailored specifically for your child. We make sensory diets easy to implement at home or school with step-by-step instructions and visuals to help you put everything together quickly and easily.

Support for Schools

Professional Development for Educators

Our training programs for teachers are grounded in the latest neuroscience research. These sessions are not only informative but also practical, equipping educators with strategies to support diverse learners.

We meet our educators where they are and structure professional development services based on the needs of the teachers and the school.

Consultations

Collaboration is key in our approach. We work closely with teachers to understand and address the unique needs of each student. Through consultations and student screenings, we help adapt the classroom setting to be more effective and conducive to learning for all students.

This proactive approach ensures smoother classroom operations and a supportive learning experience for every student.

Direct OT Service in Schools

Recognizing the need for specialized support, we offer direct care services within the school setting. This allows us to provide individualized attention to students who need it most, right where they learn every day.

This not only aids in their educational development but also minimizes disruption to their routine, creating a seamless support system within the school environment.
